When it comes to Stitch Fix, I’ve had anywhere from great fixes all the way to some not very great ones, which is bound to happen. When I first started using Stitch Fix, I had them scheduled for every month because they were so good but then I quickly realized two things. One, if I keep buying clothes at this rate, my closet will explode and two, eventually I will end up with a not so great fix. This is when I began scheduling my fixes as needed/desired.

I recently scheduled one because we have an October wedding coming up and I don’t really have a nice fall dress for this occasion. I received my fix this weekend and although the dresses that I received were not what I was hoping for for the wedding, I still got some good pieces!

The five pieces I received were:

  1. Red Plaid button down
  2. Olive green Knit dress
  3. Coral Embroidered cutout blouse
  4. Black Jersey top
  5. Print Jersey faux wrap dress

I decided to keep the black jersey top and olive green knit dress. The top was nice because it can be dressed up for date night or down for running errands. The dress, although not dressy enough for a wedding, is super sexy for a date night out on the town! The red plaid button down was cute but I have three other shirts that are similar so that was out. The coral embroidered shirt and the print dress, even though they were cute, were just not my style at all!

If I had to rate this fix, I would have to say it was middle of the road. I did not get what I was specifically looking for, so I will have to continue my search. However, I did end up with some unique pieces that I do not have anything similar to.
